Endtime Prophecy Org Site Introduction :

Last Updated : January 6, 2009

Hello . . .

Welcome to the introduction of the Endtime Prophecy Org
website! This site is dedicated to presenting thought
provoking perspectives on Endtime prophetic events and other
topics related to the Holy Scriptures and our Christian walk
of faith. This site is maintained by the WordWeaver, a free
thinking Christian who many years ago became disillusioned
with and abandoned organized religion, yet who still holds
a strong faith in the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of
God. To learn more about the WordWeaver please click here.

Through this online ministry, it is our heartfelt desire to
not only feed our web site visitors with the sincere milk of
God's Word, but to also motivate as many of you as possible,
to do more for the Lord in the time that remains before His
Return. For those of you who haven't already done so, it is
high time for you to start thinking about your Eternal Fate.
Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? If
so, what are you personally doing in your life right now in
order to store up Eternal Rewards in Heaven? Have you become
so caught up in this materialistic life, and the human rat
race, that you have sorely neglected the real needs of your
spirit? Consider the words spoken by our Lord, as well as
written by the Apostle John in his first Epistle :

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth
and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and
steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where
neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not
break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there
will your heart be also."
Matthew 6:19-21, KJV

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the
world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is
not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the
flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is
not of the Father, but is of the world."
1 John 2:15-16, KJV

As we are clearly told in the Bible, our works will surely
follow us after this life has ended, whatever they might be.
Isn't it important then that we each make sure that our
works will be pleasing to the Lord? Consider the following
verses:

"If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that
pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy
soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every
man according to his works?"
Proverbs 24:12, KJV

"For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father
with his angels; and then he shall reward every man
according to his works."
Matthew 16:27, KJV

"...I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will
give unto every one of you according to your works."
Revelation 2:23b, KJV

"And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write,
Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their
labours; and their works do follow them."
Revelation 14:13, KJV

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and
the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is
the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those
things which were written in the books, according to their
works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and
death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and
they were judged every man according to their works."
Revelation 20:12-13, KJV

While the Scriptures clearly tell us that we are not saved
by our good works, the Lord Himself does tell us that people
will know that we are truly saved Christians through the
works that we perform for Him. In other words, they will see
the positive fruit in our lives; and they will also see the
Spiritual Light which we shine upon the world as we go about
doing our work for Him by being little reflectors of the one
True Light. Please consider these verses:

"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
Matthew 7:20, KJV

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Matthew 5:16, KJV

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith
without works is dead also."
James 2:26, KJV

One thing is for certain; as Christians, we cannot attempt
to conceal our light, or as Jesus said in the Gospel of
Matthew, we cannot hide our candle under a bushel:

"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an
hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put
it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light
unto all that are in the house."
Matthew 5:14-15, KJV

In other words, we cannot and should not be ashamed of our
Lord and the things which we have learned from His Word. We
must be bold witnesses of our faith to the world at large,
regardless of what they might think, say or do; just as
Peter and John were in the Book of Acts:

"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and
perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they
marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had
been with Jesus."
Acts 4:13, KJV

If we are ashamed of the Lord, He will most assuredly be
ashamed of us as well at His Coming; but if we are not
ashamed of our faith in Him, and boldly tell others about
Him in some way, neither will He be ashamed of us. Here
again are some verses for your consideration:

"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words
in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall
the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of
his Father with the holy angels."
Mark 8:38, KJV

"As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone
and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall
not be ashamed."
Romans 9:33, KJV

"For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall
not be ashamed."
Romans 10:11, KJV

It is interesting to note that the last verse above from
Paul's Epistle to the Romans comes right after a pair of
verses with which many Christians are familiar. In fact,
they deal with our Salvation, and boldly proclaiming our
faith:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation."
Romans 10:9-10, KJV

As can be seen, it is by boldly proclaiming our faith with
our mouth, or with the keyboard I might add, that we are
truly letting our light shine before the world. Not only
that, but we are building upon the right foundation, upon
Jesus Christ, and we are performing works which will last
into the next life. It is only these kinds of works which
will not be burned by the Lord's fiery judgments; all others
will be destroyed. Here are a few more verses for your
consideration:

"According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a
wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another
buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he
buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than
that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build
upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood,
hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for
the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by
fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort
it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built
thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work
shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall
be saved; yet so as by fire."
1 Corinthians 3:10-15, KJV

To continue then, at this site you will find many in-depth
Scripture-filled articles which we hope will serve to expand
your knowledge and understanding of God's Word. With this
increased understanding, we also hope that your spiritual
growth will be stimulated, and that you will be motivated to
become a more fruitful branch for the Lord in whatever way
He shows you. We don't want you to be like the dead branches
which will be cast into the fire due to the fact that they
were fruitless branches, as we see in these verses:

"Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away:
and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it
may bring forth more fruit...If a man abide not in me, he is
cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather
them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."
John 15:2, 6, KJV

We each have our calling from the Lord, and you surely have
yours as well, if you are willing to accept it. For a much
more in-depth look at this topic of service for the Lord,

The above articles are guaranteed to convict the heart of
anyone who might be a lazy Christian.

In the majority of articles found on this site, we have done
our best to magnify the Lord's Words above our own, for as
King David wrote, the Lord has magnified His Word above His
very Name. As Christian writers, shouldn't we do the same? :

"I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name
for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast
magnified thy word above all thy name."
Psalms 138:2, KJV

Wherever possible, we have inserted Scriptures to support
our views, so that you the reader can see why we believe and
teach the things that we do. In fact, we believe so much in
the power of quoting the Scriptures, that it may very well
be that, collectively-speaking, perhaps half of the total
content of all of our articles combined are solid Scripture.
Hopefully, this point alone will give you a good idea of how
important we believe it is to make sure that we are leading
our readers to the Lord and to His Word, and not just to us,
or to our human understanding of Biblical matters. God's
Word is indeed powerful; no human word can compare to it;
for as the Apostle Paul wrote :

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing
asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the
heart."
Hebrews 4:12, KJV
