Hello there!
My name is Chica4Jesus, and I am the creator and owner of this
site, The Diabetic Kids Treehouse. I am 11 years old and was
diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes on the night of November 16,
2001. Through this experience, I was reminded that God is
very much in control of everything that happens to me.
You may be wondering what inspired me to create The Diabetic
Kids Treehouse web site. To give you an honest answer, I must
credit the Children with Diabetes web site, owned and operated
by Jeff Hitchcock.
I enjoy visiting the CWD site very often; mainly because it is
very informative; and children with diabetes, as well as their
parents, have the chance to discuss their feelings with people
who may feel just like them.
My primary purpose in creating this web site, is to give all
diabetic children an opportunity to have a fun, interesting,
colorful, and very informative way to learn about diabetes.
It may not be very much fun having such a serious disease
like diabetes, but we can all make the most of our lives by
the Grace of God.
I hope that you enjoy the DKT web site. And please always
remember that God is in perfect control!
